Engulf is a Kontakt-based instrument that allows you to create an otherwordly soundscape by using few patches. Two layers of original sounds merge together to create a new one, the first layer is a clean sound fit for any style or genre, the second layer is a textured version of the first one made with granular effect synthesis. This instrument combines the product of wavetable and granular synthesis into a well crafted and curated bank of sounds.
Engulf has 37 different patches, each one containing two sounds that can be merged together or used separately. The categories are: basses, pads, leads, keys, plucks and soundscapes. It also features 25 tweakable parameters including: volume and panning controls for the layers, envelope controls, effects such as filters, saturation, chorus, flair, delay and more.
